1967 GMC 1/2 ton truck
I will probably be aquring a 67' GMC 1/2 ton 4X4 from my grandfather. I did post somting on the converting diesel to gas thread but I thought this was in no way a Mercedes Benz. Anyway, I know that I want to have Smoke Stacks if possible, It has a 8' fleetside on it, solid floors, body ( except rockers ) and it has a 4 spd manual on the floor, most were 3 spd on the tree. It is powered by 74' Blazer 350 ( although seized ). I plan to have the motor rebuilt and put off road performance parts like Truck avenger cam and edlebrock off road carb with a good intake. I want to recover the interior or put my Mercedes Benz front buckets in ( but recovered ). What is a trusted source of body parts and some interior parts for a truck like this? I have thought about Classic Industries. I would also need to get a new tail gate as the one that is on it is an old Chevy gate that is rusted apart. I want it to look fairly good inside out and under the hood. I want to paint it Le Mans blue if the interior is blue as I think it's blue but my color inspector mommy says it's light green and not light blue. What do u recover seats with? the same that u recover sofa's and house furniature with? I was thinking about getting an indoor outdoor rug and using that for the floor and loose the torn stuff that's there. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Could it be a 10114182? If so, it is a Gen V 454, 4 bolt 1991 (or later). Hope that helps..
