Thanks and yes I know exactly what you mean about work! Wished I could quit and do what I really want to. But I haven't figured out any other way to make money to support my car habit.

Nice work as always! Should be a nice addition to the stable!
I dropped the engine onto the chassis and the pan on the engine I'm using is different than on my mock up. I need to either use the mock-up pan or notch the cross member.
I can get the motor mount bolts in but the pan sits on the crossmember. I need to cut out about 1/2". I think I'll do it the hard way and notch the crossmember so I can use the chrome pan.
I think I might still need to cut another half coil of the springs too.

So I made the notch in the crossmember. Just cut the piece out and flipped it around and welded it back in. Now I have pan clearance.

I also got this.....

....to replace this on my crane. That chain is pain and the chip in the pulley doesn't help either!

How did I do without one before. So much easier and convenient! :D

Looks like the old guy still wants to help you by supporting the power cord!:3dSMILE:
That project is really coming along! Nice work!

Wow, it's been almost 9 years, 4 car, 2 motorcycle projects and neck surgery since I've posted anything on this project. I have been working on it the last 6-7 months.
I have finished the frame and under the body and put the body back on the frame.

I'll try to catch up and post more that I've completed.
Wow glad your back we love the build threads, that being said I am grossly behind on my project too! Some times life slows us down, but the constant in my life is the 48 runs well and is always ready for me when time permits!
The car is looking nice and it's nice to see you back at it again!
Cool! Glad to see you're back on it. I've got one of those decade long projects, too. Hang in there!
Glad to see your handle pop up on the screen. And you're working on a project too. Thanks for the update.
I installed new rear shocks in the stock location and on the Chevy rear end. Everything lined up like it was made that way.
