not trying to hijack, but...I mounted this motor a little higher than normal because I drove it daily and didn't want pan clearance problems with speed bumps, angled driveways, etc. Consequently, the stock Ford motor mounts show quite a bit and are ugly as sin.
This is what I did to put a 302 with a front sump pan in a Chevelle front clip in my 56 F-100.

Looks like I spoke too soon, I have a considerable doubt this site will ever recover and I don't think those in charge just don't give a damn, prove me wrong.
