I think the front end was particularly fugly.
Other than what they did with the grille...................
It's common enough of a truck, so the "ruining of a good truck" I gotta disagree. I thought the lines and shape of the truck were very impressive. Reminded me of the new Hotwheels line (though a very old hotrod concept), with the large front and tapering rear. Making it look overall cartoonish. And the metal work was great.
Though my judgement may be bias because of the good job the program did of bringing the shop people closer to the veiwer, I really liked the crew and thought they had a good feel for the way they do things.
Still want Jason Priestley to get a new job though, his narrating is killing me!
The looked great except for the flat black paint job. They may have been trying to say "ATTITUTE", but it just said "Ghetto".
I really liked the show, it was the best one so far. I really enjoyed how these guys did things with out going wild high tech. I agree with swifster, I don't care much for that flat black paint.
Pat
<<<<does not have cable:(
I thought the truck was sweet and the Color was cool to it gives it a 60s hot rod look wich I love it looks bad ass:cool: expesually with lots of crome it makes it look mean. the only thing I would not have done is put those stupid head lights in it and kept the old ones then it would have looked mint the other head lights made it look whacked like this :whacked: :whacked: or like a retarded shark or somthing two far apart but other than that they did a great job I think
Right on chevyman. Those shiney paint jobs mean nothing when compared with an old suede 60's rod. Kinda rat rod flavour. I like it
oh ya my 51 chevy is going to be flat black with all original crome covered in Louvers and Red rally rims and white walls and some flat yellow flames on the side atleast till I get the money to buy nice rims and a nice paint job but until then it will look like a bad ass 60 rod (SO Sweet I cant wate)**)
You should do satin black, it's easier to clean.
That's "Black Suede", baby...YEAH!
Anyone catch the Brizio '32 last night? I enjoyed it - wish it was a 2 -3 part show instead of cramming it into an hour (or less, with commericals). Favorite one so far.
Jordan
I liked the way he did the car. It would stand out amongst other 32' Deuces cause a the way he lengthened the wheelbase 2 inches, and that paint was cool.
Hey Jordan, even though the show themes are different, notice how there wasn't any of the tension like on OCC or AHR. I realize part of it is the build time allotted, but still. Brizio really is as nice as he seemed in that show, and those guys working there have been with him quite a while...............a real juxtaposition to the Boydster.
