    floor mount gas pedal

hi I am looking for some type of car that I can get a gas pedle out of that pulls the cable from out side the cab now I know lokar makes a relly nice one but It is very expensive and quitefrankly I dont really care all that much about how pretty my gas pedal is as long as works the way I want it to so I was wondering if any one knows a car I could find one on in an old car of some sort. the reason I want one like this is because in a 51 chevy pickup the floor is really open and it just looks ugly as sh*t with it pulling from inside and I would have to cut a hole In my nice smooth clean firewall witch I really dont want to do you know were Im comming from. If any one could help me out with some suggestions or tell me a company that makes lokar ripoffs that would be great thanks

Chevy, I don't know of any other that will work as well or looks as neat as the Lokar. I used this set-up in my 55, but I'll have to change things around now, since a new "dog house" is being fabricated. The hole for the cable lever is completely covered by the pedal assembly, so no hole in the firewall is necessary. I know it's a little "pricey", but the time & effort spent trying to fabricate something that looks as good & performs as well, isn't worth it...in my opinion.

Mr Gasket a dn TD perfperformance makes the also. I don't think they look near as good as the lokar( I used to sell all three) but they are much less expensive. And you do get what you pay for.
Can you rebuild a Qjet without breaking a nail?
