judged a book by its cover
I went to the nsra northern nationals this weekend in kalamazoo and entered my ford truck.I had several hours to walk around as well a my dad who had gone with me.we were walking around sunday morning looking at all the nice street rods when my dad stopped and pointed out this nice looking anglia.the anglia looked like many of the other street rods chrome wheels.shiny black paint and such.then my dad said it had a 4 cylinder flathead motor.I thought no way.the owners was standing near and said have a look so I looked under the side curtain hood he had lifted.sure enough the motor was about twice the size of the generator.I must have looked shocked.then my dad informed me It was rated at 10 horsepower.I figured he was yankin my chain.then the owner informed me that was true.he said the car had enough power with that little 10 horse that appeared to be the original motor.thinking about it my cheap riding lawnmower has more horsepower than that car.you never can judge a book by its cover
