09-04-2009 05:28 AM #1The mechanic raised up from under my hood, he shook his head and said

Your timin' belt's done shrunk one size too small
Those spark plug wires are a little too long
And your main prodsponder's nearly gone
Your injector ports are stripped and that ain't all
The torque converter's runnin' low on torque
And that water pump's nearly down a quart
But we caught it all in time so you're in luck

 Happy Friday!

Here is a link to some replacement parts in case you are having trouble finding them: http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3
If you are pulling the engine apart, be sure to replace the piston return springs. Also, there was no mention of the halogen fluid... Better check that while you're at it. Jim

Here are a few more hard-to-find items. These people seem to have just about everything, but I don't see Brick Fluid listed.

Don't forget to change the air in the tires from summer air to winter air before Labor Day. “Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it”--Lou Holtz.

I hate having to change those muffler bearings.
Just don't like having to crawl under the car.

In all those good parts I saw narry a knibblin' pin. If one of those goes out while you are on the road you are in big trouble.

PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

When I flew for Uncle Sam, we used to send new airmen after, "a hundred feet of flight line", or "five gallons of prop wash"...

However, we really did have whiffle-trees and snatch-blocks and let me tell you, there was some real eyebrow raising when trying to explain what they were used for..

later on, when I was assigned to a joint-services special operations group out of Brussels, I was a part of a Tactical Warfare Action Team. We changed the name when a young female captain was assigned to the group...."Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty."
