Crazy Wild 49 Cadillac Custom at Good-Guys

Went to Good-Guys West Coast Nationals this week-end and after several iterations of, "Now that's my favorite for the week-end" I came across this one and it blows my socks off hands down. Hours and hours of metal work in this one:

    And the coupe de gras:

You think he might have some flame throwers rigged up?

Also got to meet up with Keith aka "Blwn31" and his son and had fun discussing our cars and Club Hot Rod. He had a sweet original 31 at the show. Dummy me did not get a picture

Yeah, I spent a considerable amount of time checking out these pics, Pat!!!!! Good to see that Kustoms are still alive and well!!!!! Some real creativity, and fantastic metal work!!!! Betcha he didn't by all those parts at 1-800-Hot-Rods!!!!!!!

Curious, was the engine and interior as wild as the exterior????

Dave it was hard to get a good picture of the interior through the window. These are the best I could do. No idea what engine it had, why ruin the lines by opening the hood?

You can see it is distressed leather, you could really smell leather when you got close to the window. That spine along the head liner was cool. You can also barely see a Caddy back up light in the center console for a courtesy light.

It was for sale, no price listed. For Sale note said "Call the Wizard"

S-weeet! Or to use my grandson's vernacular: "That's so SICK!" (never have figured that phrase out). Anyhow, that is one fine looking automobile. There is a '49 Cad fastback here in the Las Vegas area that been basically restored, and mildly rodded, bagged, and still running the flathead. Guy has had it for sale for a long time for about 45K$, but it is nice; every time I get close to it, I get the "I want it"-itis; too bad I ain't rich instead of so danged good lookin'.
