Is this your first old Harley?
I have an old shovelhead. Love to ride it. More riding than working on the car. Car is looking pretty cool with that motor.

my first Harley. found it in Lubbock Tx. brought it home to michigan. planning to repaint it this summer maybe. I've had my cycle license for a few years but havent rode much. practicing on the back roads before I go into town with it. pictures of it at my brothers in NM last week. I also have a honda cb750 inline-4 that I'm trying to turn into a bobber. still need to wire it.

have the bike all finished. changed rings and valve seals, new gaskets. painted the frame and cleaned up a bunch of stuff. had a problem with the electronic module so converted it to points. runs real good now and doesn't burn oil. Now I can work on the car again until I go back to work in the fall.

Nice bikes! The Harley above reminds me of a friend's here who bought an old CHP bike and fixed it up, only he has hard bags.
