filled roofs aren't all that tough to do....if you're a good welder and at least average sheet metal skills. Do you want a smooth or a ribbed roof??? A ribbed roof has sufficient strength, a smooth roof is going to require some extra roof braces---and not the wood variety that came on the car.....Station wagons and minivans make good donors, not a lot of crown to the '36 roof so the contours are fairly close.... I prefer to use new sheet metal vs junkyard stuff, but the degree of difficulty and tools required goes up considerably....
