I'm not sure how many 33 HR builders are on CHR but I have to say I'm starting to visit here pretty often for the search function.

If anybody has been thinking about building one of these, feel free to post some questions. I'm not connected to FFR and would be happy to give you my thoughts on the car or it's components. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. :cool:

I think the beta and first few cars needed some work but mine really seems to be mostly by the book. I've had to rework parts for the personal changes made but they have sent refined parts in several areas because they are improved. They were not satisfied with the first issue of the steering shafts so I have all new steering. They found a better way to do the grille/radiator support so that was something else they shipped out.

They should be up to 60+ cars being built with around 8-10 finished. :cool:

I like the concept, and the majority of the engineering looks really great....and the engine, who do I have to kill to get one of them?????? My only concern is all the square tubing used in the construction....granted, it's easier to work with and put brackets on.....but round tubing would sure look better, at least IMO it would.....

I agree about the tubing but most of what is visible when complete is round. I'm already planning the NEXT engine, it's the same basic motor but 5L with twin turbo's. :toocool: The stacks will not be used with that setup.

You'll be using the new 5.0 mod block???? Heard lots of good things about it, should make for one heck of a powerhouse.... What made you decide to go turbo instead of blower???? That new Kenne Bell unit shows some very awesome numbers!!!! Can't imagine more power then that, powere to weight ratio has to be in the "scary" column!!!!!!:LOL::LOL::LOL:

I'll be using a salvaged motor from yet another Mach1. The CR will be 9:1 with a forged bottom end. I was a SC'er guy for years and very anti-turbo until my son put a TT kit on his Mustang. It was tame and quiet until it had to perform and it was awesome even at only 7psi. I want to use a flat 33 hood with the twins mounted almost behind the headlights. The look is what I'm shooting for more than performance but at an easy 9psi it should put out 580rwhp/630rwtq. That should be absolutely dangerous in the wrong hands. :LOL:

The wrong hands will never get a hold of this car as long as I own it.
