Just sold the Falcon on Ebay

Well guys, I done it.. Sold the Falcon on Ebay. listed 3 times, tried to get at least $1k but with no takers with a reserve, I set start price at $500 and set a $1,500 BIN NR auction.. nobody bit on it till the last min, so it sold for $500.. I bought it for $500, but now I have a stack of receipts that equals over $5,000.. oh well, it'll buy the tonnau cover and tires for my truck.. when I sell the '92 Ranger, I'll put that tword the Chevy.... it hurts to know, it's going, with all the work I put into it, but it's better I guess, I did loose intereste in it after I found out it didn't have oil press... I'll still have the '51 Chevy, I don't think I'll ever get rid of that, It's the car I wanted since I was in jr high when I first laid eyes on it, and the same car I bought 2 years later when I got the chance... I guess I'll chain up the old Ranger to the Falcon tomorrow and pull it out of where it has sat since 2007 so the guy won't have trouble loading it.

I feel your pain, the Chevette I was hoping to make a good bit of $$ on is on Ebay with a bad headgasket. I'm hoping for a break even on the parts, I'll eat the labor.

Matt, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't get more for your car. Hopefully you can make up for what you lost on this one. You have a long car addicting life ahead of you. Forty years from now you will be talking about the ones you should have kept like us old guys.
