    Flashlight Drags

The last few years we have had what they call "flashlight drags" at 4 of the small airports here in western Pa, but I just got an email saying that the PA Dept. of Transportation is shutting us down because the "rules" state that an airport can only shut down for an aviation related activity.
Guess they want everyone to go back to street racing!
The airports are fighting this because it is a good way for them to make money.
Hopefully PENNDOT will come to their senses and see that racing on airstrips is better for everyone.
