A guy i work with told me about this car a couple years ago . He knows i tinker with the old stuff . He said his dad raced it back in the 60's and then it got parked .He had it stored at a friends and things started missing like bright work the original grill and shell and the 6 pack that was on it . In the 70's he brought it back out to his place and put it in the barn where it has sit ever since . Still has the 283 and 4 spd with a 55 Olds rear end with the spiders welded .

I told him man that car is worth alot and his dad could get a penny for it . Now if i was dishonest i could have maybe picked it up cheap but i let him know the value it could have . Well it didn't last long when i handled it for him and put it up for sale . Less then 1 hour is all it took .

I keep trying to get the phone number to them bailout guys in Washington DC and have them send me some....I could sure use a bailout!!!!!!

Tried that, they don't have a listing for the Department of Stupidity or the Department of Absurdity...... Couldn't think what other department it would be under...... And of course the phone at Pond Scum Politicians was busy, as usual.....

Thanks Bobby for posting it, I've been looking for a good pic of those valve covers. I'd really like to find a set of those chrome covers in good condition, the pic will let me show people what I'm looking for.
