One Wire Alt to Battery in Trunk?
I just moved my battery to the trunk of my nova using a 1gauge starter wire and a 2g wire for the block ground. Now I am about to get a new one wire 100amp alternator and it says the sire goes straight to the battery, so do I have to run another large wire back to the battery? or can I just run a battery to the existing wire on the starter terminal? Also, if I do have to run another wire back there, should it be larger since it will be about 15 feet long?
Thanks,
Eric
".......So sanded it all down and resprayed. ......" Been there. done that on a couple of paint jobs over the years. Usually took me a couple of days to get over being mad before I started...
