84 Ford F 250

Hey Guys , I need some help. I have a p/u 84 ford f250 ford 460 engine with alt not charging battery. I too it off and Not all the connectors are there. I have the batt and the stator or field and not sure if that is correct. Batt is for sure. No ground not on. So i need to knw where the stator wirer cmes from and field so I can trace them back and or run new ones:CRY: :confused: **) any help will be appriciated

stator and field wires on the alternator both go to the appropriate connection on the voltage regulator marked F (field) and S (stator). I always run a good ground from the ground connection on the alternator to one of the screws holding the voltage regulator to the fenderwell to ensure that both are grounded....
