Kind of sorry to hear that the kid did too. He should have had a few more injuries for reminders about cautious driving and lessons learned. Injuries as a result of the accident, but not from you. That would have caused additional unwanted problems.

You are right, I was lucky. He hit the front wheel perfectly, broke the rack and pinion and the front wheel, but I believe that is probably one of the strongest parts in the car it just spun us around 1 1/2 times, wound up on the other side of the intersection.
