We've had three Subies over the years. Two wagons and one GT. Basic units with the 2.5 liter H4 are slow but have potential with a little beefing up in the engine compartmetn. The 3.0 Liter H6 is much livelier. My current daily driver is a 2001 Outback Wagon with 120,000 miles on it. I intend on seeing it hit at least 200,000 which will be in about another 3 years.

Quick and agile at speed, but getting upto speed feels like it moves just a little faster than a slug. Same basic engine as the WRX STi, but with out the go fast goodies.
