Looking for pictures of rumble seat setup

    Hello group,
I recently purchased a 32 Roadster "project" that was started and not completed. This has a glass body that needs the doors and trunk lid hinged and mounted. Part of what I wanted to do on this car is have a rumble seat. I picked up a Glide frame off ebay last week for dirt cheap. I was wondering if anyone has some pictures of what the seat track would look like, how the seat folds up and down, and how the lid is hinged.

    Thanks in advance!

    Scott

Are you absolutely sure you want a rumble seat?

I have one and it's a pain in the backside.
Things get caught under the lid, sometimes you can't open it without a struggle and when you do things can be hard to reach.

Access to the deeper corners of the trunk during wiring or other maintenance is difficult.

A lot of folks think they want a rumble seat thinking it would be cool to be cruising the fairgrounds or the main drag with another couple or the kids in the back.

    It seldom happens.

My new project roadster has a regular trunk and it's a whole heckuva lot better.
Room for a spare for one thing.
Lots of room for other stuff on a long weekend.

Looking forward to having it on the road and when I do, the rumble gets converted to a regular trunk.

    Never again for me....
