    4" chop on 29

     



    Here is my 29 Ford with a 4" chop. I have a 29 Ford five window coupe that I am going to leave the roof stock height. Something different I guess.

    There is a very good article on giving a Model A a 4" chop in the July 2008 issue of Rod and Custom. The chop was performed by Jimmy Shine and there is a wealth of info and lots of pictures. The Model A that was chopped was 5 window coupe and not a sedan, but many of the same principles still apply. You might want to take a look at the article it had alot of nice tips in it.

    I've been trying to find this but everywhere has the August issue out now. Is it on line or do I have to back order it? Can't find it online either.....I can't even find my sawzall to do the chop!!!!!
