Bigger brakes are always better. Even though some of the V8 MII's with lots of accessories weighed upward of 3100# it's still a good idea as Dave has pointed out.
One thing to be aware of, some of the big brake setups will add up to 3/4" in track per side. Doesn't sound like much, but if your wheel offset puts you close before the swap it can be a problem. Check before you buy.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
