As Robot said,take a close look at what is there. An 80 year old frame isn't good for much other than a pattern for new work with 2x4 steel. If the body,front end etc,are as described,yeah I'd say it is worth about that price,but I'd still flash 3 and see if he bites. Hank

Again, take a real good look at the condition. A standard unhacked and minimally rusted but otherwise complete Model A 2door body shell alone is worth $1000 - $3000. An 80 year old Ford 'A' chassis WILL HAVE cracked cross members, usually at rivet holes or the tranny mounts. These can be fixed, but usually it is best to either build or buy a new frame. That ad says the price is an asking price so negotiations are expected.Dave W

Let us know what you find,is always interesting to find out how people advertise there stuff.After looking for something similar it is great if you find something close enough that you can actually check out yourself.
