    It also has a spare tire holder on each fender if that is any help. Notice too that there is no cowl vent. It does have the same shape firewall as the trk cab but much older I think. Does anyone recognize the gauges? They are very simple and small.

    The dual-mount spares pretty much tags it as a higher-end type car in my opinion. Like you said, Buick or maybe Caddy or......who knows. I think there have been something like two thousand manufacturers come and go.

    Just on a whim, I googled the job number. Son of a gun, it came up. It's a 1931 Chevrolet Sport Coupe. Scroll down about halfway on this page and there it is, 31558.
    CHEVROLET 1929 TO 1933 CAR AND TRUCK

    You should have enough information now to search titles at the capitol and find out the last owner. Might even be able to chase it back to the original bill of sale.
