Picking a color is the hardest decision we make in building a car. I find myself sitting in traffic looking at every car around me to find cool hot rod colors.

Being that you have more of a '60's theme going on with your T, you have more choices than if you were doing a '50's themed car. No matter what color you paint your T it will look great. (I've got a gallon of PURPLE that I'm not doing anything with. )

You know Don, I never thought of it as a "60's theme", I was just building it to my likes and taste....But now that you mention it, I grew up in the 60's so I guess I did, unknowingly, incorporate a lot of that era into my hot rod! Its cool when you get input from others perspective of what your car looks like to them.

The mags, discs, and tunnel ram sort of put it into the '60's. Like I said, that leaves the door wide open for colors.

Here are some pictures of similarly styled T's in all colors. (there is even a purple one in there ) No matter what color, they all look good. I'm also starting to like them unchopped for a change.

Yeah, after reading this thread, I am leaning towards painting the whole car a color. I kinda like Daves idea of painting the frame to match the body, but since I really havent decided on a color yet its proly gonna hafta be a black frame....But ya know, the C5 Corvette has a color called Millenium Yellow that I have always loved!!!!!....Hmmm....

Ok...hows this sound, ya'll have convinced me to paint the body a color other than satin black.....one of my favorite colors is Millenium Yellow (corvette color). I like daves idea of color matching the frame with the body. But I want to drive the car hopefully this summer...So.....Im going to paint the frame Corvette M.Y. and just run with the body in all its current rusty glory. Then next season, after I chop it and fix the bullet holes, Ill paint the body to match. I can always repaint the engine if its all too much yellow....

Now I just gotta decide what colorto paint the suspension components.... (proly black)

    Ya gotta love this place!!!
