    It may look girly,.....but it makes a ferrari feel like a girl........

    The 5.0 and the ls1 bolt under the stock hood ,it cant be all bad
    Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

    I will still maintain that you do not NEED 500 HP to go in the mid 12s either.

    Here are some calculators that reflect weight and HP to validate that-

    Drag Performance Calculator

    TCI - TECHNICAL INFORMATION: Racing Calculators

    Before you dismiss that- here are some real world mild Novas that run mid 12 and none have 500HP.

    1971 Chevrolet Nova 1/4 mile Drag Racing timeslip specs 0-60 - DragTimes.com near stock 355
    1972 Chevrolet Nova 1/4 mile Drag Racing timeslip specs 0-60 - DragTimes.com using a ZZ4 w/ 355HP
    1970 Chevrolet Nova 2 Door 1/4 mile trap speeds 0-60 - DragTimes.com another mild 355
    1971 Chevrolet Nova ss 1/4 mile trap speeds 0-60 - DragTimes.com a 400 on pump gas
    There is no substitute for cubic inches

    4:88's and a 29 tall tire, this is why i WANT the 5:13's only going thru lights at 6200

    yeah well, me and dad built it together but i didnt get enough say in it. gave it to me for graduation but still to me it feels like his car. that why i wanna build this 63 that my uncle has sitting into a gasser. so i can ahve a car that'll feel like my car.

    so to get into the mid 12's i dont need to have a ton of hp, how much do i need?

    with 3500 lbs? probably around 400 horse maybe less,
