Well, I thought I would give a up date on the roadster. I put in on the Dyno today to get it's final tune up and actually see what kind of rear wheel horse power it made. It made 603 on the engine dyno when it was first assembled. things change dramatically when you bolt on rear wheels. and in my case all for he worse. apparently my air inlet and air filter are a real interference in air flow, it just can't breath in the higher rpm's. I really don't care I'm more interested in driveability, but I have to tell you I was really disappointed with the numbers.
On a more positive side the owner of the shop met me this morning and says to me I understand you knew my father. I said I don't know what is your last name, he says Ritchy. I thinking holly $%^$% this is Les Ritchy's son! I knew Les in the early 60's. I cleaned the gaskets off his oil pan for him. So the day wasn't all bad, except for the disappointing dyno Numbers and my fuel pump went out on me on the way home!!!
