Ya gotta figure the cost. That's the bottom line of everything. Who is paying for de-rerusting or any other fooling around? The car is worth zero dollars. The city isn't going to spend for any refurbishing when it's owned by 2 old ladies. And frankly why would the sisters pay? There can't be any way that it's possible to break even on restoring the thing.

I bet you the car is actually worth quite a bit, think about a possible ebay sale. It is a piece of history.

I'll bet the company that is doing the de-rusting is doing it gratus (or next to nothing) just for the publicity it will attract. Im a little skeptical though when they said they were gonna "clear coat it" to prevent the rust from continuing......
