i love the 305 in my 78 firebird. .060 over with headers, .cam = .454 - 290 dur. and otherwise stock right down to the 2bbl. Gets 18 MPG @ 80 MPH, and stomps the hell out of ricer burning punk kids. OH yah, I love shifting into first @ 50 MPH and grabbing a car length, thanks to my 2.41:1 rear end!.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
