I've been an old pro street car driver from the first time around......back in the 80's...and one of my current projects is a 66 chev II C-dan pro streeter. That's why the thoughts on the pro touring "style". Having owned a 1934 ford truck & a 1946 ford truck the street rod bug bit again after I got the 62 Uni. Just didn't have needed room for the wife & my 2 year old. If I had to pigeon hole my "style" it'd be resto-rod with a pro touring-street look that is fully functionable for daily driving along with X-country trips with no issues.

One of my favs was a 1940 cpe. but they have skyrocketed out of my financial view. I always dug the fat 1946 look & Fat Jack's rendition was the mac.

I'm going to try & keep my budget under 12K total. We'll see. I gave 6K for the car so.......it gives me so coin to update some things. If anyone visits clubchopper & knows my motorcycle work (as PACO) will know I'll have some kool one off parts made & will be done by yours truely.

I'll post some pix when it's in the driveway & I start changing things....
