Hey guys, I'm going to get pics up later that show the steering box in place and how tight it is for us. Any chance either of you could post pics of what you have done for the gas and brake pedals? our brake pedal is pretty much where i it is going to be positioned, except I'm going to cut the shaft and drop it down towards the floor for a better angle for the foot. the problem is the gas pedal, that sucker is just awkward wherever we have tried maching it so far. I don't want it too far out from the firewall so you have to hold your foot at a weird angle the whole time you drive.

    thanks.

    gas pedal

My gas pedal is a cable job, that two owners ago, slapped onto the floor. I'll send a pic tomarrow, it looks messy and will be hard to cover up. As for my steering, it's the original ford f1 box for now. Lots of clearance, little control! Steve.

    jerry rigged pedal

Red here are several shots of the gas pedal that was already in the truck when I bought it. It is a cable system through the fire wall, it seems to work pretty well, but I cringe at the thought of the cable breaking while I'm getting on the highway! I can't figure out how to upload an image from my pc to this dialog, it keeps asking for a url address, the photos are on my hard drive. If you give me your email address I'll mail them to you, meanwhile if Don has an easier way to load a picture, please do tell. Steve.
