Ford 351 motor in a 1948 Ford Car
I am starting to collect parts for my next project, a 1948 Ford Coupe. I want to install a Ford 351 motor, my question concerns oil pan/crossmember clearance. I would prefer to run a dropped front axle but if going to a Mustang IFS eliminates nasty clearance issues I am not adverse to going IFS.
Thanks

Why not run a 351W?

A 351 Windsor is what I am referring to.

It would be nice if this up and down crap would cease.
