I am so glad that he has finished that awesome car in time for the GNRS.. It is truly amazing what that guy has done there.. I really wish I could tell him personally.. I miss his posts, and the mind boggling work he does.. I don't know about anyone else,,but I feel totally useless after looking at his work.. the guy is amazing..

That is just an incredible build! The interior metal work is unbelievable! Each time Ken did a build, he trumped his previous build. I could see this one was going to be special way back in the early build stages. Thank you Bob for posting!!!

Ken told me he has over 2000 rivets on the interior alone. Hopefully Bob will give us an update on how he does at GNRS! And Bob wondering if you went to the show depending where you are over wintering at?

Steve, I didn't make the show this year. The last pic above is one Ken shot with his Ipad and zinged my way. If anything important happened for him at the show I would hope to get an email tonight or tomorrow morning, otherwise I'll probably have to pull it out of his modest self. As for "wintering" we're huddled here in the NW as we sold the desert house a few months back. Time to get a little world travel in while we're still able.

Thanks Bob. I got the same Ipad photo. I think he must be worn out! All the last minute rush to get the car ready. Traveling sounds good! My brother lives up your way, so I get weather reports from time to time, sounds like yesterday was o.k.?

I miss the models of projects past, but Ken's Face Book posts said they just detracted from the beauty of the cars!
Bob keep me advised of any magazine features as I would love to collect them as they come out.

Steve, I got my issue on Monday, it was so good to see our friend's car on the cover!! I really miss his posts and build threads, always learned something from them. Speaking of that, do you know which forums he hangs out at now? You can PM me if you would like.

    Thanks, Mike

Not much to add Steve, but I don't think he hangs on any forum much at all. He will do an occasional (as in infrequent) post on HAMB, but now that they've changed format who knows.

Just some added info for the interested, he's now part bionic. Had a knee replacement done Monday and is recovering at a normal rate it appears. He'll be in the early phases of rehab for up to 10 days depending on mobility recovery. He thinks he might make it to LARS if released as hoped, but will be in an electric cart for obvious reasons.
