My 48 Chevy chassis now is stock wiht the 79 Z28 Camaro front sub frame on it. I have it with small block mounts now but heck I don't know what to do. I'd rather have a V8 but this thing has the 700r4 overdrive I am thinking it is the 700 and it has cruise control (can I use the steering column?) nice fuel injected motor so better gas and more reliable. It has all the A/c stuff too but I guess I can't use any of that.
I don't know, it's either this or I sell the 48 and Blazer both because I have my 46 Chrysler and 66 F100 that I need to focus on and I will never have the money to buy a 350 motor and a transmission for it, etc and then put money into the 66 and 46. Just too many. Then again, I don't want to do this 4.3 and put it in and it have problems because of whoever built it didn't do a good job and also like you guys said, it wont have that V8 sound or power.
