Yes, the back edge of the stock fenders are going to be used to fill the aera between the door and front edge fo the cowl.

The front egde of the fenders and hood are being used to build a radiator shell.

As for the engine I'm using a mopar 383 BB . I had considered a strait six or even a four, but I have had this 383 for 15 years and it needs a home, The fact that it is one of my favorite engines ever certainly helped make the decision.
