Yeah Flat, your steel is more than sufficient. You will be fine. Truck is looking great, and I've watched it coming together from the beginning on the other forum, and really like the progress. :) :) :) :)

Thanks Don,
I think what I'm going to do is start another thread when I really get the ball rollin on the c-notch and then do another on the bed/wood floor install as well. Since "The Hurricane" went through the bathroom last night, I may not have to buy any wood at all.(Just a lot of stripping and sanding)
This metal is a real pain to cut just for a notch kit. But I'm gonna finish it either way...Looks kinda sloppy right now too. Guess I can doctor it up when its all done.
Got one piece cut last night. Take a look and tell me what you think.
More than sufficient.........looks great. Should give you lots more travel. :)

Flat looks like it will be as strong as a Ark . So the purpose of this is so you can lower the rear of the truck frame down ? I too am a newbie at the frame mods. I will say trucks do look better when the stance is lowered some what .
Bluestang67,
Thanks for takin a look. I think it might be a good idea for me to just go ahead, finish the cutting and grinding, bolt my kit on there and see what it all looks like and stop questioning myself.
