Don, Roger is right. If we all wish to discuss your topics, it really shouldn't be in Randy's thread. Just common courtesy.
And I am enticed to chat about your project!

I get it. Sorry to intrude. I was just mulling over all the receipts for my car build and the earliest dates are from 2003. I should have started a thread then but by now stages of my build are scattered over many threads so it is a little late to present a collection. Denny seems to have gone over to H.A.M.B., Brian Rupnow seems to have moved on and IC2 seldom shows up here so most of my old conctacts are gone. It just took me too long to get my car running but Randy seemed hospitable and his last response seemed to ask for some comment but I guess I am a Johnny-come-lately on this thread. Hey it is too cold now to finish my kick panels for a while so I won't have to rush to get a picture out anytime soon and they won't look purty anyway. Just for the Ford record I unloaded all my old Ford iron for a mere $200 (4" Merc crank, Merc rods, flywheel and two cracked blocks) so now I am totally "replica". Is there a Replica thread? Maybe I will start a new thread after all.

There used to be a song from the early "70's" that said, "It's never to late to start all over again", Steppenwolf, and it was a longtime favorite! Just like you and your car, please do start a thread, it would be great to see you and your "replica" have the space it deserves! ( you do know mine is a replica also right? )
Randy is usually a gracious host and gentleman but we are a diversion in "his" thread.
So YES! Please take a few moments a do a thread!
(I'd like to chat with you)

Don,
I agree 100%! The fact that you don't have any common thread to your build is kind of sad, but it is what it is! My '33 is a total replica, too, and in the ranks of the early "iron" there's more of us than originals. You bring a lot of good comments and questions to the forum, and they deserve to be in individual, topic based threads. I hope to see you posting often.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Yep. It’s pretty sad.
