I sold my old bed on craigslist because it was definitely worth repairing if you have the time and space to do it. The buyer picked it up last night so my truck has been bedless today.
While the bed was off I took it to the car wash and blasted the chassis and shot a little rustoleum on it. Since this is not a frame off restoration, that will have to do for now...
How about the cool '60 Dodge Power Wagon in the background? That belongs to my neighbor. My truck now parks next to it.
The underside of my new bed will be dry tomorrow and I'll put it on. I can do the rest of the body work as time permits....
