    Question fan shroud

Can anyone tell me the proper mounting for a fan shroud. Depth of blades into shroud etc. Having a problem with my '31 Dodge running hot at idle. I know it is air flow problem because it runs cool down the highway. Would appreciate some knowledge.

Streets is correct. another way to put it ,when mounted, half of the fan blade should be inside of the shroud, half outside of the shroud. maximum of 3/4 inch clearence from tip of blade to shroud.
