I don't know Dave................that so called '35 roadster had more bad lines than a Chevy Chase movie. If you think it looks bad in pictures you should (nah you shouldn't) see it in person. The ONLY thing I liked on that was the hood ornament..................it's the dirty ol' man in me. And whoopie, you can buy those on his site now!

This one I don't find near as offensive, though it doesn't make me smile either.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Well now that I see more detail of it I'm sticking with my orignal responce.. "It does nothing for me" For what that thing cost to build he could have had just about any car out there. I guess its what ever rocks your boat.

He usually has his latest 'work of art' at the NSRA York show but I don't remember it from last year, but I was too busy at the swap meet trying to get rid of surplus treasures.

    But the new car - a '32 grille shell on a '40s Chebbie .....???

Yep, the hood ornament (on a street rod?) is neat.

What is scary is that he does have some great skills, but maybe as he gets older the controlled sunstances that he MAY have used in the '60s has messed with his mind. But then the artsy-fartsy types can be different...and that's OK (go to an art show sometime or, as I do, volunteer at a theater doing scenery and you will have a better understanding that they are not the same as 'normal' folks) and we need them to make the world a bit more colorful

You just described my brother and his wife. Good thing I love them.

Hey, now wait a minute!!! There were no bad drugs in the sixties, just some slightly better then others!!!!! I tried most of them, and my strange ideas don't come anywhere's near being that fugly!!!!!

Good thing I don't see a lot of these alleged trend setters in person with the owner present, got an idea I would become quite unpopular if I were to express my opinion...... Not that I have a tendency to tell people what I'm really thinking or anything!!!!

Hey Uncle Bob, that pig you got a picture of, she was uptown last night!!! Went home with some dude who had a couple to many cocktails....... Her twin sister was there, too!!!!!

I guess even top builders and shops like Posies and Foose turn out some duds now and then. I am not nuts about the two cars pictured, and feel the same way about some that Coddington has done. And let's not even talk about some of George Barris' creations.

But, as you guys have pointed out, the magazines react as if every car that these guys create is some ground breaking, trend setting car. Sometimes we car guys look at them and say "what the h*** was he thinking."

I still think this is one of my favorites though, and it came from a little known builder. He did have one asset you guys mentioned though, LOTS OF DRUGS.

I dont like it at all.. It looks wierd and nothing matches. And if your going to build a ride like this which is going to be seen by many peoples then how the hell can you miss the gaps between the two plates on the roof? Anyway Posie have built quite some rides before but the last projects havent been in my taste area.

@Henry: Isnt Foose car named P-32? and not P-37? I've some vague memorys of that..

I know I'm far in the minority here, but I actually like both cars. The only thing on that Chevy that I'd change is to add some color instead of primer gray.

That's what makes the world so interesting - dull place if we all agreed - (even though you're misguided about Posie's car )

It may be a Chebbie, but has real power - a Roush six banger Ford
