Nah, I'm afraid you've got the wrong words behind the letters. MOPAR stands for More Old Parts And Rust. Mopars are good, but I much prefer a Chevy. By the time I was 16, I already had two cars. By 19, I had 5. My first one was a 1939 Nash powered Nash, second was a 1963 283 powered C10, then a 1972 350 powered Suburban, then a 1996 1.9 L powered SC2, then a 1939 351 Cleveland powered Nash. I rely on the SC2 for a daily driver. The rest are toys. And believe it or not, I am not rich. In fact, I have been unemployed for 2 years. It all depends on your priorities. What you ought to get is a modern car as a daily driver. You want low insurance and go fast ideally. Stay away from Cameros in that case. A modern Cavalier with the ecotech 4 can be made to generate BIG HP and Torque with stock parts. You get the go fast and relatively low insurance. Then get yourself a toy. Insurance on trucks is bad, but not as bad as sports cars. You could still get yourself your Nova, or a Mopar, or, God forbid, a FORD. Even better on insurance is an obsolete independent on liability (correct me if I'm wrong). You could get your toy and take it to the track to race. This path may cost a little more in the short run, but it will leave you on the side of the road less often and save money in the long term. I know this is probably not what you wanted to hear, but you ought to get a newer car for insurance and safety sake. Keep the old cars as toys for play.
