    Yup, I'm tellin ya.....nothing beats 2.5 exh and 18" glasspacks. You could hear the Ranchero about 5 blocks before I even got there....and I wasn't even hard on the throttle! And that was without headers!

    If you're 17, you'll like it. I did when I was 17. Sounded like a pro-stocker running right off the headers. Try it. Glasspacks are cheap. You can always change the muffs later on...

    Just keep in mind, i bet the cops in Cali' have a way of bustin you on a dB violation. I'd do a little research too on that one, so your muffs don't get to costing you any pink slips. I can attest to alot of harrasment from the fuzz in my day.

    hmmmmmmmm

    I think i will go with this so far:
    Hedmen Headers
    Exhaust cut outs ( now and then ill use them)
    Flowmaster Series 40 mufflers
    Flowmaster American Thunder 3 inch pipes

    And what is a Y and X pipe? what all can they do?

    ahhhhh okay. So ill just stick with what i have.

    Also about Heads. Idk what ones are on it now but i will find out. Also what Heads would be best for HP and Torque? Are DART Heads anygood? and should i go 2inch pipes or 3? what are the pros and cons about them

    John, Recipe for getting rid of your girlfriend!! Install a set of Hooker Compettion Headers with either Cherry Bombs or 40 series flowmasters guaranted results within days, It worked for me... The resonants is unreal!! And the cops will be able to add to their annual BBQ fund!! Good Luck, R.W.

    :-D so the Hookers and Flowmaster 40's are a good combo.... I think that is what i will do. I gota think twice about glasspacks though. It has some on it from like 1975 lol. Thrush 36 inch ones. Anyone wana buy them i might just toss them out lol.
