Question Anyone ever buy anything from Country Classic Cars in IL?

I've been checking out their website for awhile - they've got tons of old cars and trucks...all in different states of dis-repair. Some pretty good prices for project vehicles...

Anyone ever bought from there? How were they to work with?

I never bought from them, but I did stop there once on my way from St. Louis to Detroit. They had a lot of cars, but most seemed way over priced. There was a '60 Pontiac wagon that just about every panel had rusted thru on that was $4,000.00! And this was three years ago.

To be fair, while talking to the guy there, many cars are there on consignment. Unsure what it would take to pry one loose. The nicer cars are garaged and the project cars are outside. I was looking for a project at the time, but didn't see anything worth buying at the time. I didn't really check out the garages.

I have been there many times. I think the project cars they have there are very overpriced. Many of the cars outside have been parked there for years. The nice cars which are located inside do not seem to be price to high. I don't know anyone who has bought cars from there, although a friend of mine sold his truck there. In my opinion I would look other places for cars unless they had something you couldn't find anywhere else.
