Hummm...
I have looked at both closely and will definately end up with one or the other... Here are my thoughts about them...
The topster is definately the less expensive way to go, only problem is that you have to find someone to actually build the canvass/cloth for you... That is fine if you know a good top guy so that you have a good idea what the final top will look like... As I understand it the topster will also need some custom fabrication work to fit your windshield if you are not using the factory windshild stanchions...
The Bop Top... It is very pricey IMHO at over $2500 but it is a very good looking top that accetuates the lines of the car and provides protection from the elements without some of the pitfalls of other tops that are available... Sid's top does not contact the body of the car in any way, eliminating the need for unsightly snaps in the car's body and it uses the Roadsters factory mounting brackets... The top is available for several different windshield styles that eliminates the need for custom fabrication... The Bop Top comes with a glass back window so that there is no need to worry about the plastic window cracking, breaking and yellowing over time...
It really all boils down to how much effort and money you want to invest in a top... If you have the time/experience to do some of the fabrication work and want to save a few dollars then the Topster is the way to go... If money is not an issue and you want to a top that you know is going to be made well and is ready for installation, I would say go with the Bop Top...
Just my opinion...
