    Who's running nitrous?

Just wondering who's spraying, how much, with what kit, and on what motor? What internal mods or precautions did you take? My pops is thinking about running a TopShot nitrous system on the 259 I'm building for his starliner. He wants to use it due to the fact that its easy to hide and keep the motor vintage looking. I'm still trying to convince him to use one of my turbo setups but it really won't fit the look he wants.

I've read bad things about that top shot on other websites. I can't remember where though. Doesn't distribute well.

I run an Edelbrock system. I really like it because the kit comes with braided nitrous and fuel lines. Which make pumbing the soliniods much easier.

If you want the stock look. With the braided lines, you could possible mount the soliniods to the bottom of the air cleaner, and pretty much hide everything.

    Just a thought.

I ran a sportsman fogger on my old rear engine dragster. I think I only made 3 or 4 passes with nitrous, and only one of them in the 1/4. I was always afraid I was gonna blow the thing up, but I did pull a high 6 second run at over 190 mph. I went back to a door car on alcohol after that.
