Wow, I guess I must be really behind the times, don't even have a smart phone, just an old 'buy airtime when you need it' flip phone and the only reason I have that is that should I have another mini stroke and wind up laying in the lawn I can maybe call someone rather than wait for Jackie to find me! lol, there's probably not more than a dozen people who even have my cell number and I block every solicitor that does come up with my number and call me, if I don't recognize the number I don't answer. Also it has zero apps on it. I think it has internet access but I've never used it so no problem there either! We still have a land line with an answering machine, if some company needs a phone number, that's the number they get. I don't even check messages anymore, if it's someone I actually need to talk to I'll get told about the message eventually when one of the girls checks messages. Heck, I don't even use text messaging! I still do most of my purchasing local, might cost a bit more but I do enjoy watching my money circulate right here in Madison, I doubt Amazon would utilize the little I actually spend any more beneficially! I do still buy a bit from Speedway, Summit, or Jegs occasionally, but from past experience I avoid ebay like the plague!

For those who think in terms of "Never" on government overreach or dismiss what I said above as conspiracy theories you're right for the moment, and, like me, are at an age where you might not see the ultimate results. A year ago today Executive Order 14067 was signed that was step one in the process. Read up on it and you'll see all the feel good language about safety. Remember how Homeland Security Department was originally presented to protect us from foreign attack? Now, two decades later, they're targeting US citizens voicing objection to government overreach..........hmmmm.
