That's the front that blew through here Wednesday night. Then last night a light rain started after dark after temps in the mid- 20's all day, cold surfaces. Closed major highways all over KC.

All that crap is why I moved to Florida almost 43 years ago. I haven't had to shovel snow or scrape frost off my windshield since February of 1980. My winter coat is a Goretex jacket...

You're more than welcome to send all your snow here to Utah, we need all we can get. It's been an above average winter so far but we are still in drought, the Great Salt Lake is drying up and once that is gone we are in a world of trouble with toxic dust, we already have some of the worst air quality in the country when the pressure systems stop all the air movement down here in the valleys.

We had snow on the sonoma mountain tops this week. Been very cold for california. The state that has been in an extended drought did a big surprise to the weather folks who predicted another dry winter, and continued drought rationing. It's been wet and raining for months now, water in our resevoirs overflowing, and now snow. Just goes to prove mother nature doesn't always agree with the Experts! I'm ready for some warmweather even for a few days. ! I remember the -20 winter storms in Wyoming, don't miss those at all! Hang in there Dave!
