Ebay fail
so.
I've purchased some vehicles from ebay. Always a calculated risk. Most which were not entirely as described. Caveat emptor.
I recently pulled the trigger on a barn find 48 mercury.
My personal situation changed, I contacted the seller immediately, offered to reimburse listing fee if he'd let me off the hook.
New eBay seller. He didn't respond for days.his silence convinced me that I was being scammed. I contacted ebay, they supported my perspective.
Finally he contacts me.
We're both unhappy. Mildly stated.
I reimbursed his listing fee. In the end he was reasonable.
Always have a plan "B"..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
