    I told Ian he'd be better off with an 80's 5.0 bellhousing and 4 or 5 speed, but he wants to keep it as original as possible. It's his car and his money and I'll let him know about your advice Roger and your 4 speeds Shine.

    i see several on marketplace for 450 + . i got a deal on a 289 4speed in a trade. the trans and shifter was all i wanted. vintage straight stick hurst shifter still in the box.
