Happy Birthday to my dearest and oldest friend but I doubt he will see this as as he forgot his password and the email he used is no longer available. I tried to get Mr Mustang to help but to no avail since the rules of this forum do not allow messages to be sent to unregistered sites so Richard basically said "F+++ It!

What you asked was not possible, there is no way the forum software allows the over ride of the password reset email address. Richard does not remember his password, and never updated the email address in his profile. As I stated in our PM's, if Richard wants to reach out to Brent, perhaps there is something that can be done, but within my realm/level of access it ever be so.

I understand what you are saying, but in this day and age it's hard to comprehend software that is so antiquated. It's just frustrating to know that on other forums this type of problem is easily overcome by a moderator. I really hate to see what I perceive as a valuable member of this forum being turned away because of a technicality that would make him reregister under a different screen name.
    Thank you for your patience.

Unlike other forums, this one is not owned by a multi million dollar conglomerate. Just a simple forum, for like mind folks who get to use it for free, whenever they feel like it, 24x7x365. It burns me when I see posts like I quoted above, it makes me feel that we, those that work behind the scenes more than you can imagine to keep this forum free (I have never taken a salary, can't say if Brent is breaking even on the advertising or not, but I'm doubting there is profit happening across his sites) of trolls, spammers, porn, and more........We do not ask for recognition, but we due expect a little understanding when things being asked are not an available option. Once again, no blame needs to be placed here, what you asked in a PM is not currently an available option for me, the only moderator left on this site.

    Enough said, stay safe.
