Yup, a bit late but Happy Thanksgiving to all on CHR. I have so much to be thankful for, first of course is my family which are still my highest priority. I went through some rough times again a couple years back, pneumonia then another stroke. I'm doing fine now (all things considered) but the entire ordeal was another lesson in the importance of having family that care about each other. Also grateful for my friends here on CHR who have stuck with me through my temper tantrums, frustrations, rants, and everything else. Thanks gang, always good to have friends!

Good to hear you've been feeling better. And now that your temper is lower.. You had a thread around here somewhere about your grand-daughters I think it was... How about an update?

Yeah, I did. Got an insult I didn't like and just got away from CHR for some time, but yes, I have mellowed a lot. The most recent close to death experience did reset all my priorities!

So anyway, Lexi and Lisha are doing fantastic, still showing some signs of their trauma early in their lives but they've both made a fantastic recovery. They're in 2nd and 3rd grade now with Lisha showing a lot of aptitude for art and reading, Lexi is really into math and sciences. Thanks for asking about them! More big news scheduled to arrive in January, great grandchild #2 is due!
